A little gem in a beautiful location
We booked the whole venue for the night for a family birthday. It was easy to discuss requirements etc with the hostsJacqui and Nick from the start. This is pure luxury at an affordable price. Something for everyone from swimming pool/ hot tub/ sauna to pool table and table football. Food was above excellent – we had a barbecue. Gardens are beautiful; we even had a visit from the local deer. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic find
We spent four nights here recently and loved it. Our room was exceptional, the breakfasts brilliant, the staff friendly and welcoming, and we’d definitely go back. Even the weather was perfect, so we spent our days sunbathing in the attractive, quiet gardens or swimming in the lovely indoor/outdoor pool. Bliss!

Beautiful place in amazing grounds
The decor and cleanliness has to be seen to be believed. Superb. We stayed in the Egyptian Room for two nights which is beautifully appointed with luxury bedding and a balcony overlooking the Hamble and gardens below. Amazing swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room. It’s all here to just relax in the extensive grounds or be active. Breakfast is first rate, freshly cooked to order and served by the lovely Jenny. Jackie gave us a warm welcome and was very friendly throughout our stay.Unlike a hotel, we were made to feel like old friends. We will return.

5 Star B&B
I have stayed at Hamble Retreat a few times while attending Warsash collage and cannot fault anything about it. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable with great facilities and all the mod cons, and in a great location.

A little piece of paradise
I would certainly recommend visiting here. From the minute you arrive it is clear you are going to have a lovely stay. The gardens on the drive up to the property are amazing and the house is just as beautiful. Situated in a small village you are within a 5 minute walk to village centre with 2 pubs, Indian (which I would recommend) and an Italian. The facilities at the house are brilliant especially the pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in one of the en suite rooms with a balcony, in my opinion worth the extra. Breakfast was also good with all you could ask for: cereal, fruit, yogurt, cooked etc. Would love to visit again.
